Gynecology and Obstetrics Departments also provide services in many areas such as general women's health, menopause-osteoporosis, pregnancy follow-up, monitoring risky pregnancies, assisted reproductive techniques and cancers of the female organs.
In addition, our department offers childbirth preparation courses and educational seminars for parents by academicians and trainers. In our seminars, it is also aimed to convey and disseminate the correct information in the most effective way with visual materials such as videos, slides and models.

Gynecologic Cancers
The female reproductive organs are the ovaries, the uterus, the tubes that carry the fertilized egg, the vagina and the vulva that limits access to the vagina. Cancer of the female reproductive organs is called gynecologic cancers. The most common gynecological cancers are cervical cancer, uterine cancer and ovarian cancer. The cervix is the part of the uterus that opens into the vagina. The cellular tissue of the cervix is different from the uterus. For this reason, the cancers that develop have a different development and spread characteristic than uterine cancers.

Laparoscopic Tubal Ligation
Laparoscopic tubal ligation, also known as tubal ligation, provides 100% protection against pregnancy. There is no change in female sexual desire, menstrual cycle or body structure. It does not interrupt sexual intercourse. It has no harmful effect on breast milk.
